Our terms and conditions

All products and services provided in our store remain the sole property of the IT Exchange Ltd until paid for in full.

Refurbished Items :

All of our refurbished items undergo rigorous testing and are fully prepared by our team of expert technicians before dispatch. Each item also comes with fully working "consumables" if applicable (i.e. Toners/Drums/Fuser/Transfer Belt or inks/Printhead which are considered a gesture of goodwill and are supplied free of charge and hold no warranty.) and a power cable, as well as any standard issue parts, unless otherwise stated. Please note this does not include a driver CD, a USB cable, parallel cable or Ethernet cable.
Any refurbished item will show signs of previous use, this is unavoidable and small scratches and blemished may be on the outer casing of the product.
 
New & Boxed Items :
 If it is deemed necessary, we open and check New and Boxed items to ensure their integrity. If any items are missing from the box it will be detailed in the description.

Items listed in our store are precisely described and contain no additional parts above and beyond what is stated, this includes consumables such as toners, drums, inks, photoconductors and printheads, it also includes power cables and power supplies. Most items include a power cable and consumables of the correct kind however please be sure to check the individual item description thoroughly.

All new and boxed items will be checked to ensure their integrity and will contain all parts issued as standard and be in brand new condition unless stated otherwise in the listing.

Drop shipping.

We are happy to drop ship directly to a third party, but our terms and conditions prioritise the terms and condition you have made with the third party and any losses due to mis information or over selling is your responsibility as a trader. We only provide what we are selling on our site, what you promise may differ and may be deemed different for a higher price which is why we point this out. The third party will be receiving the value of goods we are supplying rather than the value of goods you have charged. Any descrepances, or over expectations of the third party are not our responsibility.  In addition, any returns dealt with on your behalf outside our normal 30 days policy will be charged at our workshop repair rates as stated on theitexchange.co.uk website.

ALL Items :

In the unlikely event that you aren't satisfied with your product, we offer a 14 calendar day return policy on all products. Any items returned within this 14 day window must be returned at the buyers expense. Any New items must be returned in the original box, unused and still sealed.

In instances where an item is returned, we will offer an exchange unit if one is available in stock or a full refund where no exchange is available.

If an item is ordered in error we are able to cancel the order and offer a refund until the item is shipped. Once the item is shipped an order can still be cancelled, but will be subject to a restock fee to cover our costs (20% of the total order value including delivery).

In addition to the 14 day returns policy, all products are supplied with a 30 day Return To Base/Carry in repair warranty. This warranty covers machine failure through electrical or mechanical fault, it does not cover expiration of consumable items or damage through misuse/neglect. Any items returned under the warranty policy must be returned at the buyers expense. Once a faulty machine is returned and meets the criteria above we will repair and return it at our expense. If the machine is beyond repair we will replace it with an exchange unit. If no exchange unit is available we will issue a full refund and cancel the order. The 14 day return period is included within the 30 day warranty period and is not in addition to it.

If an item is damaged in transit it must be reported within 24 hours of receipt and signed for as damaged on the delivery drivers copy delivery note and or manifest, do not signed for as un checked or any other the words DAMAGED must be written. (Excluding Saturday 00:01 until Sunday 23:59). We will then collect the unit, repair and return it at our expense. If an item is damaged in transit and this isn't reported within the first 24 hours, the product must be returned to us at the buyer's expense.

Any items that need to be returned by the buyer must be packed safely and securely, any damage to a returned item previously unreported by the buyer will be repaired and charged at cost.

Use of non-genuine parts or consumables not purchased from us,  in products supplied by us will cause an automatic warranty void.

We endeavor to supply our products in a fully working condition, but we are not responsible for connecting or configuring our items for the purchasers system environment. All connectivity or configuration issues remain the responsibility of the purchaser.

Please remember we sell all of these printers through other means, so we reserve the right to increase or decrease prices depending on stock levels and demand as well as end any listings that have sold elsewhere. Please also remember that these prices are specific to our online customers.
